This is a response post to this email request; " Good morning, I am from Bolivia, at Christmas I bought the 75SUC8100 tv, until today I have not received any system update, I saw in some forums that the update to android 10 is already being distributed to other series or models, but my tv does not get any type of update or security patch. I would also like to ask, if there is any way that 5.1 sound can be sent from the devices connected to the HDMI ports, I have a home theater and I connect the tv through toslink, but only Netflix and the media player give 5.1 sound while the HDMI devices can only be heard in stereo. I am receiving some question on the comment if it is possible to make or convert the 50UB5500 Smart TV to Android TV. The answer is yes! Your smart TV is convertible to Android TV!  But you do it on your own risk that is limited only with your mainboard.

Your smart TV doesn't remember your Wi-Fi password. And it make you keep on entering the password every time you turn the TV on. To address this problem, you need to do the following. 1. Reset the Smart TV to factory default settings. 2. Update the TV Software. If the problem still persist, kindly call Skyworth after sale hotline number 02 8555-1555 and request a technical support. Your burden is cause by defective eMMC card which is build in on your Smart TV mainboard.

M Mode means "Factory Mode or the hot key is turn "ON". It is usually appear on your Smart TV screen ( please refer to the image above for your reference ) and is not a warning of certain defect or cause a serious abnormality that lead to defect. However, is cause obstruction while watching your favorite streaming videos online or local TV channel. To turn off the hot key in order remove the annoying "M Mode" on your screen instructions are as follows; 1. On your original Skyworth Remote control, press " Source 3195 " to enter the Factory Setting. 2. Then using locate " System Setting " and press " OK ". Please refer to the image below; 3. By default Smart TV's with M Mode on the screen HOTKEY is turn ON . Therefore, on this step kindly locate HOTKEY and turn it OFF using your remote's left arrow key's button.
