Skyworth 50SUE8002 Review: A Budget-Friendly QLED TV with Google TV

The Skyworth 50SUE8002 is a 50-inch QLED Pro TV is a counterpart model SM exclusive model 50SUE8000. Both model shares the same characteristic, design, features, Software Version and Function. However, they are different in color and store they were sold.

Both premium QLED models runs on top of Google TV operating system. It is one of the best budget friendly option for Google TV that offers good picture quality, a smart platform, and a variety of other features. 

In this review, we'll take a closer look at the Skyworth 50SUE8002 QLED Pro Google TV to see what's under the hood and why it always ahead the competition. But before anything else, I want to remind you that this specific SUE8002 Series premium QLED Google TV is a counterpart of  SM Appliances exclusive model.


Design

If the design matters to you, then Skyworth 50SUE8002 QLED Pro Google TV might interest you. It has a sleek and minimalist design. The bezels are thin, however 50SUE8002 back cover is made of plastic. The TV comes with two V-shaped legs that are easy to attach as well.


Picture Quality

The Skyworth 50SUE8002 has a QLED Pro display with a 4K resolution or 3840 x 2160p. QLED Pro is a new generation of QLED TV with an improved output screen consistency, equipped with eco materials resulting in greater brightness and brighten skin color making the characters more natural and real.

This only entails that it's picture quality is really good, with more brighter colors, deep blacks, and a really good contrast. The Skyworth 50SUE8002 QLED Pro Google TV also featuring Flicker Free, Low Blue Light, Health Platform and Antibacterial Remote.


Performance

The Skyworth 50SUE8002 QLED Pro Google TV is powered by a quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The performance is generally super good, but there can be some occasional lag when navigating the smart platform.

The Skyworth 50SUE8002 QLED Pro runs on Google TV. This is a great smart platform that gives you access to a wide range of streaming apps, including Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and Hulu. You can also control the TV using your voice with the Google Assistant.


Connectivity

The Skyworth SUE8002 QLED Pro series has a good selection of connectivity options, including three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, and Wi-Fi.


Audio

The Skyworth 50SUE8002 has two 10W speakers. The audio quality is good, but it can be a bit thin on bass. If you're looking for better sound, you'll want to connect a soundbar.


Verdict on Skyworth 50SUE8002 QLED Pro

The Skyworth 50SUE8002 QLED Pro is a good budget-friendly QLED TV. It offers good picture quality, a smart platform, and a variety of features. However, there can be some occasional lag when navigating the smart platform, and the audio quality is a bit thin on bass. Overall, the Skyworth 50SUE8002 is a good option for budget-minded TV buyers.

How to CONNECT your phone to the TV?

Activate the Skyshare function of your TV. For Smart TVs, Skyshare function can be  found in the home menu. For Android series, Skyshare can be found in in the Settings > Net Settings > ALL Share. On your phone, go to SETTINGS option of your phone. Select DISPLAY and look for WIRELESS DIPLAY function. For other phones, you can access the Wifi settings and look for "Wifi Direct" function.
