Connecting your Desktop Computer or Laptop to TV (Skyworth Android TV)

On this post we will share and show you how to connect your laptop or desktop computer to Skyworth Android TVs. This step by step guide is updated as of Feb. 01, 2024. However, if own a Skyworth Google TV better follow this guide: Wireless Connection: Laptop and Desktop to Skyworth Google TV otherwise continue reading.

Software Needed:

•Updated Google Chrome Browser
•Built-in Chrome Cast Function for TV
•Router

Step by Step Procedure: 

1. Connect Skyworth TV and Computer to the “SAME” Network.
 2. Open Google Chrome Browser
 3. Go to Customize and control Google Chrome
 
  4. Look for “Cast...” 
 5. Select “Cast to”



 6. Select your source


Note: 
Cast tab -  share only browser tab.
Cast desktop – you can share the content of your desktop.
Cast file – you can stream a video or audio file.
7. Select your Android TV name.
 

 Note: Skyworth TV default name is “globe”

8. Select “globe” then click “Share”.
 9. TV and Computer Successfully Connected!!!

How to connect your Smartphone to Skyworth TV or Coocaa TV? (Viewing phone screen to Android, Smart, Basic TV)

However, if your Smartphone or TV does not have a Google chrome cast or Screen mirroring function, you can often still connect using a HDMI cable if the TV is DLNA-certified. How to CONNECT your phone to the TV?

Activate the Skyshare function of your TV. For Smart TVs, Skyshare function can be  found in the home menu. For Android series, Skyshare can be found in in the Settings > Net Settings > ALL Share. On your phone, go to SETTINGS option of your phone. Select DISPLAY and look for WIRELESS DIPLAY function. For other phones, you can access the Wifi settings and look for "Wifi Direct" function. Activate the  WIRELESS DISPLAY OPTION. Your phone will  detect TV and select the TV name to establish a connection. The main menu has a tendency to be in PORTRAIT display in some phone. However, this will be in full screen when you open applications. You can also check the settings of you phone if the "Auto Rotation" is activated.  How to know if your phone has WIRELESS DISPLAY function? Go to SETTINGS option of your phone. Reminder: Kindly read all the details before starting since there file name needed to be rename in order for it to run smoothly. Also, their are two different ways on how to update the software of Coocaa India 32S3U Pro. The Coocaa 32S3U Pro have two different way on how to update or upgrade it's software and firmware. The first one is using manual update while the other one is an automatic update, both is in need of USB Flash Drive. During the update or upgrade process, a progress bar appears on the screen and the light indicator will flashing red. After the update or upgrade process is completed, your TV will automatically restarted. To verify if the update or upgrade is a success, enter the Factory Menu.
