How to update or upgrade the Software and Firmware of Skyworth 43SUC7000 and Skyworth 43SUC6500 (Android 10). 7 Easy steps!

Download the  Skyworth 43SUC7000 software and firmware or Skyworth 43SUC6500 software and firmware.

1. Get a USB disk, format must be FAT32;

2. Copy or move "MstarUpgrade_no_tvcertificatetvconfig_20201218.bin" to USB Disk Root Directory.

3. Unplug or remove the TV from power source.

4. Insert the USB Disk containing the software to USB 2.0 port of the TV.

5. Press the power button of the TV and plug it to the power source.

6. Do not loosen or hold the button until the progress bar appears.

7. Do not interrupt the update process...

Below is the process on how to upgrade TV with android version 8.0 and 9.0! Otherwise, just follow the above instructions only.

Important reminder:

If the date is earlier than A.10.0.0_9602_H_SA_0.0.1_Wed-Jan-13_10:44:38_CST-2021, upgrade will needed four USB flash drive in for easy steps.

Needed Tools:

1. Four 8GB or 16GB USB Flash Drive (Fat32) if system version is earlier than .10.0.0_9602_H_SA_0.0.1_Wed-Jan-13_10:44:38_CST-2021
2. Android 10 Software.
3. Remote Control.

Check the System Version of the Unit

• Kindly check System version of the unit. To enter factory settings key-in "Source 3195" on your remote.  If the date is earlier than “A.10.0.0_9602_H_SA_0.0.1_Wed-Jan-13_10:44:38_CST-2021”, upgrade will needed four USB flash drive in for easy steps.  See image below for your reference.

• Otherwise, it only takes one time USB upgrade.
• If System Version has been already check, please proceed to the upgrade process. Kindly refer to the “Handling of Main Software”. 

Handling of Main Software

• Format the USB Flash Drive into Fat 32.
• Rename the .bin software from “MstarUpgrade_all_xxxxxxxx.bin” to “AutoUpgrade.bin”.
• Move the software (AutoUpgrade.bin) into USB Flash drive root directory.
• Unplug the TV from the power source.
• Insert the USB Flash containing software into the TV USB 2.0, usually located at the back of the TV.
•  Plug-in the TV back to the power source and waiting for the progress bar to appear. Please refer to the image below;

• When the progress bar reach 100%, the TV will automatically reboot, at this time you will be greeted with a No Display with Backlight. Please refer to the image below;

• The above scenario is normal after the main software update is complete, let proceed to the next step “Installation of TV Configuration File”.

Installation of TV Configuration File

•  Format the USB flash drive into Fat 32.
•  Move the following files into your USB Flash drive root directory. Please refer to the image below;

•  Unplug the TV from the power source.
• Insert the USB Flash drive containing TV Config files.
• Plug-in the TV back to the power source.
• Turn On the TV using the TV remote control or the manual button at the back.
•  Wait for at-least five (5) minutes, it will automatically do the installation process.
•  If the TV Configuration File installation is successful you will be greeted with Skyworth and Android Logo. Please refer to the image below;

• However, if the installation of TV Config is unsuccessful, kindly repeat the process from step 1 using another USB Flash Drive.

 ***Note: In our first try updating and installing new TV Config file, we have tried 6 different USB flash drive.

 While on our actual online training we have used 2 different USB flash since the first attempt goes unsuccessful.

• If the TV configuration installation is successful, kindly proceed to the next step, “Whitelist Update”.

Whitelist Update (oem.img)

•  Format the USB flash drive into Fat 32.
• Move the following file into your USB Flash drive root directory. Please refer to the image below;
• Unplug the TV from the power source.
•  Insert the USB Flash drive containing whitelist update image (oem.img).
• Plug-in the TV back to the power source.
• Wait for at-least 2 minutes. The whitelist update automatically.
• To check if the update is successful, kindly press (“source 3195”) on your remote then select “info view”. Please refer to the image below;
• Then check if the whitelist column has been filled. Please refer to the image below;
• If the Whitelist update is successful, kindly proceed to the final step, “Update Keys”.

Update Keys

•  Format the USB flash drive into Fat 32.
•  Move the following files into your USB Flash drive root directory. Please refer to the image below;
•  Unplug the TV from the power source.
•  Insert the USB Flash drive containing “Keys”.
•  Plug-in the TV back to the power source.
• On your remote press (“source 3195”) then locate “Update Datas   >>” and press “OK”. Please refer to the image below;
• Then select “Burn Keys From USB” and press OK. Please refer to the image below for your reference;
• You will be prompted with the following window pane, select “OK”. Refer to the image below;
• To check if you successfully Burn Keys From USB, go to “info view” and you will be prompted by the following. Please refer to the image below;
• The image below shows un-update Keys. Please refer to the image below;
