Here are the step by step guide on how to update the operating system of Skyworth E3, E3D, E6 and E6D series which includes;

  • Skyworth 32E6, 32E6D, 32E3, and 32E3D.
  • Skyworth 40E6, 40E6D, 40E3, and 40E3D.
  • Skyworth 43E6, 43E6D, 43E3, and 43E3D.
  • Skyworth 49E6, 49E6D, 49E3, and 49E3D.

9 Steps on how to update Skyworth E3, E3D, E6 and E6D series operating system


  • Download Skyworth Android Operating system here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jYOcBESeqO_CMijgLbujZemF2D_mhT-1 (filename: upgrade_loader_sign_common.pkg)
  • Format your USB Flash Drive to FAT32.
  • Copy the file named "upgrade_loader_sign_common.pkg" (Around 600MB-800MB）into the root of the USB flash drive.
  • Unplug the Skyworth  E3, E3D, E6 and E6D series 4K Android TV from the power source.
  • Insert the USB Flash Drive that contain  E3, E3D, E6 and E6D series software to USB 2.0 Port (Usually black color) at the back of Skyworth Android 4K TV.
  • Turn on the Android TV using the TV original remote control.
  • The upgrade start, TV boot up and logo showing stack on the screen for a while during the upgrade, It will take around 5 minutes.
  • Then the Android TV will automatically restarts, and restart again after an around 5 minutes.
  • Then it will come to the TV initial settings.

What else the update can solved?

1. Loading on logo
2. Can't access the Home page
3. Auto on and off

How to CONNECT your phone to the TV?

Activate the Skyshare function of your TV. For Smart TVs, Skyshare function can be  found in the home menu. For Android series, Skyshare can be found in in the Settings > Net Settings > ALL Share. On your phone, go to SETTINGS option of your phone. Select DISPLAY and look for WIRELESS DIPLAY function. For other phones, you can access the Wifi settings and look for "Wifi Direct" function. Activate the  WIRELESS DISPLAY OPTION. Your phone will  detect TV and select the TV name to establish a connection. The main menu has a tendency to be in PORTRAIT display in some phone.
