How to Software Update the Skyworth 32E2000 and 32E2000D Android Digital TV?

Important Reminders Before Initiating Software and Firmware Update?

Skyworth 32E2000 Android Digital LED TV comes with two different Panel, the N85 and the N80. Each model comes with it's own software and own integrated board or mainboard. So how to spot the difference?

This is how to Spot the Difference between N85 Panel and N80 Panel:

One way for us to spot the difference between N85 and N80 is by opening the Skyworth 32E2000 back cover and check the sticker. Please refer to image below;

Please take note N80 and N85 software is completely different from one another. If in case a scenario as follows occur; 

Have downloaded Skyworth 32E2000 N80 Software and accidentally installed it to Skyworth 32E2000 N85 Mainboard, result inverted display.

Have downloaded Skyworth 32E2000 N85 Software and accidentally installed it to Skyworth 32E2000 N80 Mainboard, result inverted and display discoloration.

If you prefer not to open the back cover of your Skyworth 32E2000 Android Digital TV you may like to follow this instructions entering factory settings;

On your remote press "Source" button followed by "3  1  9  5" key button. Please refer to image below;

Now that we have the basic information we are now ready to proceed the update and to answer the question "How to Software Update the Skyworth 32E2000 Android Digital TV?"

This is How to Update Skyworth 32E2000 Software and Firmware into newer version with picture and video.

1. Download Skyworth 32E2000-N80 , Download Skyworth 32E2000-N85

2. Unzipped folder.

3. Open the folder and transfer the filename "install" to USB's root directory. 

4. Insert the Flash Disk Drive on USB Port

After we obtain the software, move it inside USB flash disk drive root file. Insert the flash disk drive to Skyworth 32E2000 USB port. Please refer to above image.

5. Enter the Factory Setting

To enter “Factory Settings”, you need to have at least the original Skyworth remote control as minimum requirements. On your remote press “Source” button then follow by numeric keys “3”, “1”, “9”, “5” straight forward.

6. Locate “Software Update (USB)”

Using your original Skyworth remote control navigation keys, up arrow or down arrow locate and select “Software Update” then press “OK”. Please refer to above image.

7. Continue “Software Update (USB)”

A pop up message box will appear and say “This will erase all data and TV will reboot to update. Are you sure to continue?” Please refer to above image.

8. Press “Arrow Right Navigation Key”

To continue, on your remote navigation keys, press arrow right key. Please refer to above image. ***It works to all Skyworth Remote!

9. Skyworth 32E200A Will Reboot

By pressing the right arrow navigation key on your remote means that you are “green” to initiate the software and firmware update. At this moment, your Skyworth 32E2000 will restart on it’s own for a few seconds. Please refer to above image.

10. Please do not turn off the power! 

A few seconds later, perhaps less than a minute, a progress bar appears and the electronic message bulletin box saying “Please do not turn off the power!” Therefore, do not turn it off else you will ruin the whole unit.

11. Install BOOTCODE

Then you will prompt with another electronic message box “Install BOOTCODE”. This will take another few seconds. Please refer to image above.

12. Install LINUX

Then you will again prompt with another electronic message box “Install LINUX”. This will take another few seconds. Please refer to above image.

13. Install VIDEO_FW

Then you will again prompt with another electronic message box “Install VIDEO_FW”. This will last for another few seconds. Please refer to above image.

14. Install OTHER_PARTITION1

Then you will again prompt with another electronic message box “Install OTHER_PARTITION1”. This will last for minute or few more seconds. Please refer to above image.

15. Install Completed!

Then you will finally prompted with another electronic message box “Install Completed!”. This means the update is successful. Please refer to above image.

16. Reboot!

A few second after electronic message box “Install Completed! appeared, the Skyworth 32E2000 will automatically restart. Please refer to image above.

17. Initial Setup!

Finally, it’s almost done! Now setup your Skyworth 32E2000 with new and updated software running on it.

Skyworth 32E2000 Software Update Using Hot Keys!

The first or the above guidelines will only work with Skyworth 32E2000 on normal operations. 

Meaning it has nothing to do with TV that comes with defect such as Auto Off and Auto On, Hang on Logo and the like.

With this in mind, I have tried a few other ways on how to make it work with TV that comes with defect.

So the following guidelines below needed more attention and it should be done correctly. So let’s begin.

1. Download Skyworth 32E2000-N80 , Download Skyworth 32E2000-N85

2. Unzipped folder.

3. Open the folder and transfer the filename "install" to USB's root directory. 

4. Insert the Flash Disk Drive on USB Port

After we obtain the software, move it inside USB flash disk drive root file. Insert the flash disk drive to Skyworth 32E2000 USB port. Please refer to above image.

5. Unplug the Skyworth 32E2000

If the USB is place correctly, then proceed to the next step. Unplug the Skyworth 32E2000 from the power source.

6. Press Power Button and Hold

While the power source is out, press the power button straight upward if your TV is standing up straight and hold still. Please bear in mind not pressing slightly slant to left, not slightly slant to right. Press straight forward straight upward and hold still. Please refer to image above.

7. Press Power Button, Hold and Plug in

While on hold (pressing power button upward direction and hold still), plug-in the Skyworth 32E2000 power cord to power source. Hold still until a progress bar appears. Please refer to above image.

8. Skyworth 32E200A Will Reboot

For a little while, your TV remains at this state. Keep holding and wait for the progress bar to appear if done right. However, if something’s not right, instead of progress bar, a Skyworth Logo will prompt. Then repeat the process from the top.

9. Please do not turn off the power! 

A few seconds later, perhaps less than a minute, a progress bar appears and the electronic message bulletin box saying “Please do not turn off the power!” Therefore, do not turn it off else you will ruin the whole unit.
