40E36i comes featuring 1080p full HD display, smart TV, built in wi-fi adapter and powered by Linux 2.6.34 operating system.

What's new after the update?

Like 40E360 & 40E58 update, updating 40E36i operating system, all bugs and all other TV issue were going to be fix which includes wi-fi connection.

Tools you need
To make an operating system update for 40E36i, you will need an atlest 512MB empty flash disk drive in FAT32 format. Software is available for download at Skyworth Philippines Service Center Official Website.

What to do?
1. Download the software at spcserviceph.blogspot.com.

2. Copy the file on your USB flash Disk Drive (Make sure Flask Disk Drive is empty)

3. Insert USB Flask Drive to USB port.

4. Unplug the TV from electric outlet.



5.  Hold the menu button and plug the TV at the same time to a power source and wait until update start to load. (Keep pressing menu button for at least 10 sec.)

6. Do not interrupt the update till it's done.

How to CONNECT your phone to the TV?

Activate the Skyshare function of your TV. For Smart TVs, Skyshare function can be  found in the home menu. For Android series, Skyshare can be found in in the Settings > Net Settings > ALL Share. On your phone, go to SETTINGS option of your phone. Select DISPLAY and look for WIRELESS DIPLAY function. For other phones, you can access the Wifi settings and look for "Wifi Direct" function. Activate the  WIRELESS DISPLAY OPTION. Your phone will  detect TV and select the TV name to establish a connection. The main menu has a tendency to be in PORTRAIT display in some phone.
