Skyworth Google TV G6400H Series (50G6400H, 60G6400H) UHD Software and Firmware Update
How to Fix a Stuck Skyworth G6400H Series TV: USB Firmware Force Update Guide
Recovering a frozen Skyworth G6400H (50G6400H or 60G6400H) isn't complicated, but you need to follow the exact sequence. If your TV is stuck on the boot screen or throwing streaming app errors, a forced local flash fixes the mainboard software directly from a USB stick.

Step-by-Step Installation Process
Caution: Do not pull the power plug or disconnect the USB drive while the overwrite runs. Losing power mid-write bricking the main board requires a physical EEPROM replacement.
Step 1: Format the USB Drive
Insert your drive into a computer. Format it using the FAT32 file system.
Step 2: Unpack the File
Extract 9602_GoogleTV_RAP_EU_FFGA_2026.zip. Take the extracted file named upgrade_image_no_tvcertificatecusdatatvconfig_user_apeu_20260408.pkg and drop it into the root level of the USB drive. Do not store it inside any folder, and do not change its filename.
Step 3: Trigger the Local Flash
Unplug the TV's power cable from the wall outlet.
Insert the USB drive into a USB 2.0 port on the TV (typically white or black, not blue).
Press and hold the physical Power Button located on the TV chassis.
While continuing to hold the power button, plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Keep holding the button for roughly 15 seconds until the standby light flashes red or you see the LOADING DATA... 1% status bar on screen.
Release the power button the instant the progress bar appears.
Step 4: Completion and Reset
Let the system run uninterrupted for 10 to 15 minutes. It will reboot automatically when finished.
Complete the initial setup wizard.
Once on the home screen, clear the residual upgrade cache by running a full wipe: Home > Settings > System > About > Reset.
