How to Fix Skyworth SUE9500 Series (50SUE9500, 55SUE9500, 65SUE9500, 75SUE9500) Boot Loops & System Errors Firmware Flash Guide

If your Skyworth Google TV is stuck on the boot logo, dropping Wi-Fi, or crashing inside Netflix, a forced USB firmware update usually fixes the issue. Follow these steps carefully—interrupting power during a flash can corrupt the mainboard.

Prerequisites & Downloads

  • USB Drive: 8GB to 32GB flash drive formatted to FAT32 (exFAT and NTFS will not work with the bootloader).

  • Extraction Tool: WinRAR, 7-Zip, or standard OS archive tools.

  • Firmware Package: Download the specific build for your screen size below:

Step-by-Step Forced Recovery Guide

1. Prepare the USB Drive

  1. Format your USB drive to FAT32 on a PC or Mac.

  2. Extract the downloaded .zip file on your computer.

  3. Move the file named upgrade_image_no_tvcertificatecusdatatvconfig_user_apeu_20260408.pkg directly into the root directory of the USB drive.

(Do not place it inside subfolders or change its file name).

2. Trigger the Force Update

  1. Unplug the TV's power cord from the wall outlet.

  2. Insert the USB drive into a USB 2.0 port on the TV (usually color-coded black or white; avoid blue USB 3.0 ports).

  3. Press and hold the physical Power button located directly on the TV cabinet (not the remote).

  4. While holding down the Power button, plug the TV back into the wall outlet.

  5. Keep holding the Power button for roughly 15 seconds until the standby LED begins flashing red, or until you see the "LOADING DATA... 1%" screen appear.

  6. Release the Power button as soon as the progress bar displays.

3. Wait for Flashing & Perform Mandatory Reset

  • The update process takes 10 to 15 minutes. Do not unplug the TV, turn off power, or remove the USB drive while this runs.

  • Once completed, the TV will automatically reboot into the initial setup wizard.

  • After finishing basic setup, complete a factory reset to clear old system cache:
