Fix the Channel Issue on Coocaa 32S3U & 43S3U Coolita TVs (Indonesia)

If you own a Coocaa 32S3U or 43S3U Smart TV in Indonesia, you are using the exact same underlying hardware architecture and Coolita OS platform. Recently, a major headache has been sweeping across both models: digital channels suddenly vanish, or the TV completely fails to scan local DVB-T2 frequencies.

Fix the Channel Issue on Coocaa 32S3U & 43S3U Coolita TVs

Ever since Indonesia completed its Analog Switch-Off (ASO), your TV has relied on a precise digital handshake between its internal tuner database and local broadcast towers. If the Coolita firmware experiences a system cache glitch, your tuner essentially becomes blind. A standard factory reset won't fix it—you need to reload the firmware via USB to clear out the corrupted files and restore your digital TV channels.

Preparation: What You’ll Need

Because the 32-inch and 43-inch versions share identical core software, you can use this exact same setup guide for both:

  • A USB Flash Drive: Use a standard, reliable USB stick (16GB or smaller is perfect) formatted strictly to FAT32.

  • The Shared Firmware File: Download the official regional software update package designated for the Indonesian Coocaa S3U series.

Where to Download Coocaa 32S3U and 43S3U Software?

    • Stable Power: Ensure your TV power cable is securely plugged in. A sudden power loss midway through a firmware flash can permanently damage your TV’s mainboard.

    Step-by-Step Update Guide

Follow these steps precisely to push the fresh software files into your TV's bootloader.

1.Format Your USB to FAT32:Critical Step.

Plug your flash drive into a computer. Open your file explorer, right-click the drive, and choose Format. Make sure you select FAT32 from the file system options. Smart TV mainboards cannot read update packages stored on NTFS or exFAT drives during a cold boot phase.

2.Extract and Deploy the Firmware:Choose Your Folder.

Unzip the downloaded Coocaa firmware archive on your computer. Inside, you will find two separate folders that account for different production batches:

    • 普通-Non-Security (Contains: aml_sdc_burn.ini and aml_upgrade_package.img)

    • 高安-Security (Contains: aml_sdc_burn.ini and signed_aml_upgrade_package.img)

Open the 普通-Non-Security folder first. Copy the two files from inside it and paste them directly onto the root directory of your USB drive (the main window, not inside any folders).

    3.Connect the Flash Drive:Cold Shutdown.

Completely pull your Coocaa TV's power plug out of the wall outlet. Locate the USB 2.0 port on the back or side of your 32" or 43" panel and slide your prepared flash drive into place.

    4.Trigger the Forced Update:10 Seconds.

Locate the physical Power Button directly on the underside or bezel frame of the TV chassis itself (do not use your remote control). Press and hold the power button down while simultaneously plugging the power cord back into the wall outlet. Keep holding it for about 10 seconds.

    5.Let the Installation Finish:5-10 Minutes.

Release the power button the moment an "Upgrading", "Software Installing", or a blue Coolita installation progress graphic lights up on the screen. Leave the television completely alone for 5 to 10 minutes until the file writing process hits 100%.

💡 What to Do If the Update Doesn't Start

If your TV completely skips the installation screen and simply boots up normally or stays frozen during Step 4, don't stress.

Important Note: Trying the wrong file version will NOT ruin or brick your mainboard! It simply means your specific TV came from a production batch with a different hardware security layout.

If the first attempt fails, unplug the TV, take your USB drive back to the computer, and wipe it clean. This time, open the second folder (高安-Security), copy those two files over to your USB root directory, and run the exact same installation steps again. Do it until it takes!

    Restoring Your Indonesian Digital Channels

Once the installation wraps up, your Coocaa TV will automatically reboot into the clean Coolita OS factory setup wizard.

Now that your system files and tuner cache have been rebuilt, you can safely pull in your missing networks:

    1. Ensure your external digital antenna cable is snapped tightly into the Antenna In port.

    2. Go to Settings > Channel > Auto Tuning.

    3. Confirm that your country/region is set correctly to Indonesia.

    4. Set the source type option to DVB-T2 / Digital TV and start the search.

Your 32S3U or 43S3U will now successfully lock onto all active local digital signals with crisp, clean reception!
