How to Customize Your Coocaa or Skyworth TV Boot Screen with a Personalized Logo

Have you ever wanted to give your smart TV a truly personal touch? Every time you turn on your Skyworth or Coocaa television, you are greeted by the standard, plain factory boot logo (like the classic orange text shown in bootlogo_coocaa.jpg).

But what if you could change that? Whether you want to swap it for a cute, eye-catching design—like the playfully animated version featured in or your own custom family or business branding, you can!

Hidden deep within your television's system settings is a developer tool that lets you flash a custom image. Here is a quick, step-by-step guide to unlocking your factory settings and updating your boot logo.

What You Will Need

Before starting, prepare a standard USB flash drive formatted to FAT32.

Save your new image to the root directory of the USB drive. For the best results, ensure your custom logo matches your TV's native screen resolution (typically a 1920x1080 JPG or PNG file) so it displays perfectly without stretching.

Step-by-Step Guide to Changing Your Boot Logo

Step 1: Download and Prepare the Logo

Note: Uncompressed the File

Find or create the new logo you want to use. Once you have the perfect image, save it directly onto your prepared USB flash drive and plug the drive into one of your Skyworth TV's USB ports.

Step 2: Navigate to the Home Screen

Grab your TV remote and press the Home button to navigate back to the main Android TV or Google TV dashboard.

Step 3: Select Live TV

From the home dashboard, locate and select the Live TV input application. The secret service menu combination will only register while the TV is actively trying to display a video input source.

Step 4: Access the Secret Factory Settings Menu

While on the Live TV screen, you need to press a precise sequence of buttons on your remote control. Press them relatively quickly, one after the other:

"Source Left Right Left Right Back"

If done correctly, a hidden, text-heavy Factory Settings developer menu will instantly overlay on your screen.

Step 5: Go to Update Datas

Scroll through the system developer options using your remote's arrow keys until you find the section labeled Update Datas (or "Update Data" depending on your firmware version) and select it.

Step 6: Locate Update Logo

Inside the data update menu, look for the option titled Update Logo. Selecting this will prompt the TV's system to scan your connected USB flash drive for compatible image files.

Step 7: Confirm the Flash

A confirmation window will pop up on your screen asking:

"Sure to Update Logo?"

Press OK to confirm. Give the television a few seconds to copy and rewrite the system partition with your new image.

The Final Result

Once the process is complete, turn your television completely off, wait a few seconds, and power it back on. Instead of the stock image from bootlogo_coocaa.jpg, you will be greeted by your brand-new, customized graphic!

Note: Accessing factory settings menus carries minor risks if you change unfamiliar options. Be careful not to adjust any voltage or color calibration settings while inside the menu to keep your display running smoothly.
