Connecting your Desktop Computer or Laptop to TV (Skyworth Android TV)

On this post we will share and show you how to connect your laptop or desktop computer to Skyworth Android TVs. This step by step guide is updated as of Feb. 01, 2024. Software Needed: •Updated Google Chrome Browser •Built-in Chrome Cast Function for TV •Router Step by Step Procedure: 1. Connect Skyworth TV and Computer to the “SAME” Network. 2. Open Google Chrome Browser 3. Go to Customize and control Google Chrome 4. Look for “Cast...” 5. Select “Cast to” 6. Select your source Note: Cast tab - share only browser tab. Cast desktop – you can share the content of your desktop. Cast file – you can stream a video or audio file. 7. Select your Android TV name. Note: Skyworth TV default name is “globe” 8. How to CONNECT your phone to the TV?

Activate the Skyshare function of your TV. For Smart TVs, Skyshare function can be found in the home menu. For Android series, Skyshare can be found in in the Settings > Net Settings > ALL Share. On your phone, go to SETTINGS option of your phone. Select DISPLAY and look for WIRELESS DIPLAY function. For other phones, you can access the Wifi settings and look for "Wifi Direct" function. Activate the WIRELESS DISPLAY OPTION. Your phone will detect TV and select the TV name to establish a connection. The main menu has a tendency to be in PORTRAIT display in some phone. However, this will be in full screen when you open applications. You can also check the settings of you phone if the "Auto Rotation" is activated. How to know if your phone has WIRELESS DISPLAY function? Go to SETTINGS option of your phone. Select DISPLAY and look for WIRELESS DIPLAY function.
