How to Update the Software and Firmware of 49E3, 49E6, 49E3D and 49E6D?

Here are the step by step guide on how to update the operating system of Skyworth 49E3, 49E6, 49E3D and 49E6D.

9 Steps on how to update Skyworth 49E3, 49E6, 49E3D and 49E6D operating system

  • Download Skyworth Android Operating system here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1f_7K9AsnFGEW7V8y9x0jM4caoPWYjfF0/view?usp=sharing (filename: upgrade_loader_sign_common.pkg)
  • Format your USB Flash Drive to FAT32.
  • Copy the file named "upgrade_loader_sign_common.pkg" (Around 600MB-800MB）into the root of the USB flash drive.
  • Unplug the Skyworth  49E3, 49E6, 49E3D and 49E6D 4K Android TV from the power source.
  • Insert the USB Flash Drive that contain  49E3, 49E6, 49E3D and 49E6D software to USB 2.0 Port (Usually black color) at the back of Skyworth Android 4K TV.
  • Turn on the Android TV using the TV original remote control.
  • The upgrade start, TV boot up and logo showing stack on the screen for a while during the upgrade, It will take around 5 minutes.
  • Then the Android TV will automatically restarts, and restart again after an around 5 minutes.
  • Then it will come to the TV initial settings.

What else the update can solved?

1. Loading on logo
2. Can't access the Home page
3. Auto on and off

How to CONNECT your phone to the TV?

Activate the Skyshare function of your TV. For Smart TVs, Skyshare function can be  found in the home menu. For Android series, Skyshare can be found in in the Settings > Net Settings > ALL Share. On your phone, go to SETTINGS option of your phone. Select DISPLAY and look for WIRELESS DIPLAY function. For other phones, you can access the Wifi settings and look for "Wifi Direct" function.
