Upon opening the Netflix app, warning message window pane pop out with the following messages “ Warning: This device is not optimized for Netflix (-14)”

By pressing ok to continued

Another window pane open with “Sorry, your account can’t be used on this device.

“According to Netflix Skyworth is temporarily blocked and not Netflix certified for a moment.  The device account is on hold because of a problem with the latest term of services.”

Since Nov. 05, 2018 Skyworth Head Quarter didn’t contacting Netflix Head Quarter.

  1. I encounter the same problem with my 32E6 tvmodel. I called Netflix hotline. The agent told me Netflix does not recognize the tv model. Skyworth please help.

If that's the case, skyworth should have remove the Netflix, before I bought this skyworth brand , they showed me the Netflix apps but they can not demo at the appliance store since they don't have internent connection. They should advise the consumer about their issue, less they commit fraudelent act, I will be consulting this with the Department of Trade & Industry consumer's protection law.

Hi there, who had mislead in buying skyworth android 32E6 TV expecting that the Netflix apps is working & the seller did not informed us about the issue, what a waste of money with this skyworth brand ! I am encouraging you to file a complaint at DTI consumer online complaints, so easy , just search in google the DTI official website.

  5. This is really disgusting. I bought the same model 40E6 TV with the hope of using Netflix since the current Skyworth TV model Netflix works perfectly on it. The earlier they resolve this the better for their products and the company.

    now what's the point of the delay???? a slight tv software update would do the job for this company....

Yes, I am having the same problem (I live in South Africa) - just bought the Skyworth 32E5 32" HD Digital TV for the very reason that I want to watch Netflix on it, but it does not work and gives the same error message - "“Sorry, your account can’t be used on this device." Very bad service. They should inform us of it - I would have bought another brand of Smart TV in that case!

  15. I bought the 32E6 on Saturday (in South Africa) and returned it on Sunday. If this issue could not be resolved a full year after the first post, I do not want the TV. Netflix is one of the mail reasons people buy smart TV's and they should be warned before spending their money! I will post this warning everywhere I can.

Skyworth please do something if you want people to buy your product because the more people are talking bad about it the more market you loose. please do something.

    after that on your remote control press source and numbers 3195
    look for apps and search for APK to install netlix... do not update netflix

  22. We bought 2 Skyworth TV's (32/40 E6) and the sales person informed us that we can watch Netflix. Now it seems that it is not compatible. (South Africa). Apparently the new TV's are compatible. Must either refund or give TV's taht are compatible.
