How to update your skyworth TV Software

There are two different ways on how you can Update or Upgrade your Skyworth TV or Xtreme Android TV Coocaa TV or XIAOMI Mi Android LED TV P1. It can be an offline update using USB Flash Drive or it can be Over the Internet Software Update.

How to Update Skyworth TV Software Using USB Flash Drive Offline?

Needed Tools:

  1. 8 GB or 16 GB USB Flash Drive (Fat32)
  2. Skyworth TV Software (2.45 GB)
  3. Software and Firmware is Available for download.

  • Download the software from the provided link. (you can find the specific TV model on this site by searching the model of your TV. Example "50STD6600". Search bar is located at the top just click on the search icon above). Please refer to image below;
  • Move the software into USB Flash root directory.
  • Insert the USB Flash Drive containing software into USB port 2.0. Please refer to the image below;

  • Unplug the Skyworth TV from power source.
  • Press the power button and hold for at least 5 seconds or until the update progress bar appears in your screen. While someone is plugging the Android TV into the power source.
  • Take off your finger from pressing the power when the progress bar appears. Please refer to the image below;

After the software update completed, bugs on the TV will be patched and it will work smoothly. It took a roughly 30 minutes to complete the update. Please watch the video above for more information.

How to can I update my Skyworth Android TV Online (Over the Internet)?

Here are the step by step guide on how to update the software of Skyworth Android TV online. Made easy with an actual images;


1. Press the "Home" button on your remote to access the Skyworth Android TV home page. Please refer to the image below;

2. Using your remote navigation keys, locate "Settings" and press "OK" button. Please refer to the image below;


3. On your Skyworth Android TV "Settings" menu pane, locate "Device Preferences" and press "OK". Please refer to the image below;


4. Locate "About" from the menu pane under Device Preferences and press "OK". Please refer to the image below;


5. Under the "About" menu pane, locate "System Update" and press "OK" button. Please refer to the image below;


6. Finally, download the Available System Update. It will last a few minutes to complete. Please refer to the image below;

Software Update Step by Step Procedure for Skyworth TV

Plug the flash disk drive on USB 2 port.

1. On Remote Press "Source" 

2. Key in 3195 to enter factory settings

3. Find Software Update

4. Click OK

5. It takes a few second to update the TV (Please not to interrupt)

    I was able to play movies on my Skyworth 40" tv using USB flash drive. However, when i tried it last Sunday it can read my flash drive but the tv restarts immediately. I tried resetting my unit to factory defaults but the same thing happens. May I know what causes this? Is there something you can do about this issue?

    I updated my Skyworth tv last night to Android 8.0.0 through the O.T.A automatic update. Now the picture quality settings have completed vanished! It's very important that I'm able to adjust picture quality because the factory presets are horrid. Anyone else have this happen? The picture reset itself to factory settings and now this tv is complete useless to me...

    I want to update my tv (model rtd298x_tv001) but I have a doubt about what kind of software i must use. My tv said it has a latest software bu my netgear telling my youtube is out-of-date.? Updating especially bios is a very risky, use only went the device last hope. most of the update in my experience 50/50 chance to work.. that why i dont ant to try to update since my TV working fine, only there a message telling my youtube is out-of-date but still playing in high definition....

    Hi! I have a problem in my skyworth smart tv (model: 55UB5560). I cannot play anymore the netflix. I can log in to netflix but if i play the movie, “we’re having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select a different title” “tvq-pb-101” always appeared on the screen. What should i do? I already contact the netflix service center and i did the troubleshooting that they said. But it doesn’t worked.
